We're Scott Street Pub, a premier brewpub in Lafayette, Indiana, featuring the coldest beer in town. Since our opening in 2022, we've been the best place to eat, drink, and hang out while enjoying our warm and welcoming atmosphere. We serve a menu filled with cold drinks and delicious dishes that include house-smoked meats, homemade sauces and dressings, handmade fries, onion rings, and much more. Our Story

Scott Street Pub is a beloved dining destination located in Lafayette, Indiana. Originally established in 1902 as a neighborhood restaurant, the establishment was later purchased by the current owner who bought it for his wife. Housed in an old home, Scott Street Pub exudes a nostalgic charm that customers love. Our owner has incorporated the old dynamic and recipes of the original restaurant, which has helped establish the pub as a staple in the community. As a scratch kitchen, everything is made from scratch, including the sauces and smoked meats. In fact, our in-house smoked meats are what we are best known for, along with our hand-cut fries and the coldest beer in town. We also have a cozy patio where guests can enjoy their meals while taking in the inviting ambiance. The menu features a variety of comfort food dishes that customers keep coming back for.

We came here to get some lunch the day after the Oregon-Purdue game (go 🦆s!) before heading back home. Had originally planned on going to XXX based on friend recommendations, but they were 45 to hour wait. Found Scott Street Pub on a whim on the way out of town and could not have been more pleased. At 2ish on a Saturday, we were one of about 4 groups and service was instant. Space was well lit, TVs playing football games. Our server was super friendly, even offering to fill up our travel mugs for the journey home. My wife had a burger that she said was yummy. I got the special of the day breaded and fried shrimp, tossed in the honey hot sauce. We shared a side of fries. Shrimp were plump and tasty. But man, the fries were really the star of the show! Obviously fresh cut, fried to order, perfect amount of seasoning and crispiness. Also they have nice crunchy ice. If we come back to Lafayette, we will eat here again.

Scott Street Pub offers a nice variety of food. We came in on a Wednesday after the lunch hour. We were immediately greeted by the bartender/ server (I believe her name is Julie). We had great service , only one other customer, however. For an app, we ordered breaded mushrooms. It was a large serving. They were super crunchy and delicious. I had a recommended glass of Oliver Blueberry Moscato 😋 (I highly recommend if you are not a huge drinker and want a mild, sweet flavored drink instead of that annoying alcohol taste, lower alcohol level too!). Thanks for the recommendation, Julie. I ordered the breaded tenderloin, which was great ( next time, I will leave some of the garden off, just a personal preference). Very nice breading to meat ratio, in my opinion. I also had fries, which were crispy, mildly peppery ( I didn't know I liked that) and obviously made in-house. My husband ordered 2 coney dogs. He said they were OK, tasted out of the can. However, I think they are a scratch made kitchen. He tends to be hard to please when eating at a restaurant, but he ate both and didn't complain about them later (😉). The homemade potato chips are very nice! All in all, we had a great meal! With excellent service in a newly remodeled, clean, and comfy space. Thank You!

This is a really nice cozy restaurant and bar next to Columbian Park. Taylor did an awesome job serving! We've been back multiple times and never been disappointed with the food or service. Give it a try!

The Dog Days of Summer are here at Scott Street Pub! Starting Aug. 7th, we will allow dogs on the patio EVERY WEDNESDAY. Please see a server inside for a table, but walk your fur babies in through the back gate.
