We're Scott Street Pub, a premier brewpub in Lafayette, Indiana, featuring the coldest beer in town. Since our opening in 2022, we've been the best place to eat, drink, and hang out while enjoying our warm and welcoming atmosphere. We serve a menu filled with cold drinks and delicious dishes that include house-smoked meats, homemade sauces and dressings, handmade fries, onion rings, and much more. Our scratch kitchen prepares food using only the freshest ingredients, with no preservatives or additives added. Duck in for a bite and a pint today!

Our Story

Scott Street Pub is a beloved dining destination located in Lafayette, Indiana. Originally established in 1902 as a neighborhood restaurant, the establishment was later purchased by the current owner who bought it for his wife. Housed in an old home, Scott Street Pub exudes a nostalgic charm that customers love. Our owner has incorporated the old dynamic and recipes of the original restaurant, which has helped establish the pub as a staple in the community. As a scratch kitchen, everything is made from scratch, including the sauces and smoked meats. In fact, our in-house smoked meats are what we are best known for, along with our hand-cut fries and the coldest beer in town. We also have a cozy patio where guests can enjoy their meals while taking in the inviting ambiance. The menu features a variety of comfort food dishes that customers keep coming back for.

What a little hidden gem! Off the beaten path, which is a plus. Cozy, inviting and just plain comfortable environment. I had a mushroom and Swiss burger that was very good. The service was friendly and helpful as well. Looking forward to going back soon.

A great little spot with excellent food and friendly service. Patio available in the summer. As an intimate place with a small staff, they can get overwhelmed in a rush. Their breaded mushrooms are what everyone else aspires to achieve. The dipping sauce is fantastic, as well. A recent change to their French onion soup recipe put them at the top of regional options.

I ate here for the first time today!! I love most bar food and this is definitely one of my favorites!! I had a Reuben on Sourdough, because I don't like Rye Bread!! It was very flavorful!! Also had fried green pepper's for the first time!! Also delicious!! Also had the onion rings and breaded mushrooms!! It was all over the top excellent!! Would definitely visit again!!!

Lunch at Scott Street Pub was delightful. The interior is comfortable and quaint with prohibition-era decor. Service was quick and the food was outstanding. Some of the best tasting pulled pork I have had, certainly the best in Lafayette. The pork was finely chopped with bits of tender meat and bits of burnt ends, a flavorful combination. I plan to bring my family back for dinner soon.
